Mille Crepe from Humble Beginnings

If you have read my previous post, I guess you would have know how did I get this Mille Crepe =P I went to collect it from their pickup point at Jalan 222, PJ yesterday. I was surprised when I saw the Mille Crepe wrapped all nicely because I thought free ones they won't bother to decorate it =x I was wrong, sorry haha.

Finally collected my "dear" (those who have my Facebook will know what I mean =P)

Humble Beginnings, not so humble afterall =P

Next, I proceed on to take off everything one by one. The flyers, the ribbon, the knife and at last, I opened the box to see light shining out of it~ *bling bling* Okok, I will stop being so dramatic =P

My Mille Crepe! French Vanilla flavoured, without topping (caramelized top)

Looks good from inside too! Look at the crepe layers and fillings *yummy!*

The slice of Mille Crepe which will be eaten by me later Muahahaha! >=D

Introducing to you, Mr French Vanilla Mille Crepe!

Makan Time! ^_^

This mille crepe have thicker crepes if compared to Food Foundry. So texture wise I prefer Food Foundry, but everything else Humble Beginnings wins! Their mille crepe is soft, and the fillings are great! Not too sweet but full of flavours, and it's light as well.

Besides that, they also have much much more variations if compared to Food Foundry's mille crepe, which comes in 3 flavours only. Humble Beginnings allow you to mix and match the cake + topping. You can have Strawberry toppings with Green Tea mille crepe and much much more!

Another down side, they only sell whole cake at Humble Beginnings =/ So if you really want to try, you will have to share with someone and purchase the whole cake. I'm loving it so far =D Hope someone will get me this for my upcoming Birthday *grins* >=)

mille crepe is one of the nicest I've ever eaten. They're not so filling like cheese cakes, not too spongy and not too heavy with flavored cream, which is good if you're watching your weight. The many layers of crepe just slide in your mouth, lubricated by the creamy flavoring, mixing all the delicious flavors together and making you go 'hmmm, yum!'

love the melt-in-your-mouth feeling too!
